Hi, thank you so much for this great application. I like it a lot and I use it every single day. There is just lost the ability to create the beautiful quotes for iPhone13. It was working great in my previous iPhone and I used it frequently so it was surprise that it is missing in iPhone13. It is gonna be improved? Thank you very much. Lucie

This is not the first application that decided to updates its navigation in favor of simplicity. The sad pattern I see though is that the price to pay is often user control. Admittedly, Kindle has never been an app friendly for users with hundreds or thousands books. With such quantity, one appreciates advanced labeling or categorization system. While imperfect, the manual categories was one feature that was helping me to cluster my books the way I select them. This now seems to be gone from the iphone version of the app. This is so disappointing. Now I have only very basic filters that doesn’t even remotely help me to find the books I am in the mood for. So disappointing. I loved the recent addition of summaries in the book series, otherwise this has become pretty standard poor experience book reader. I feel like this is a preparation for pushing even more AI down my throat. Sadly, AI thrives un context and context is what was removed.

As I said, it gets the job done, but leaves something to be desired compared to Reader by Readwise. Especially highlighting and leaving notes is a chore – first of all, if I select some text, why can’t there ONE dialog window for both highlighting the text AND leaving a note? And second, currently I can always only highlight one word, the close the dictionary that opens and only then highlight / leave a note.As I said, it gets the job done, the books load smoothly and all, but it could be much better with a few simple fixes

SO nice to never have to be bored because you can take your books with you wherever you go! Like many, I still prefer paper books, but you can't beat this app for portability and convenience!
