This AV Controller app will turn your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad into a Wi-Fi enabled remote control for your Yamaha network products(*). This App provides you the flexibility to control the available inputs, volume, mute and power commands. It lets users change a song from Internet Radio, USB and command FM/AM tuners or any other internally available source. Music Play feature allows you to stream music tracks directly from your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad to Yamaha network products to so you can enjoy high quality music through your AV system.
Screen sizes of Tablet devices are also supported.
It’s great to have all this control at your fingertips - and best of all it’s FREE!

Ok but...
Need to perform update network on receiver every week. The app works several days well a then out of the blue my receiver is not found (network update is the only solution). This is happening randomly several times within month even reveiver IP address is setup directly ☹️
WiFi connection
After the last app update WiFi connection stopped working for all connecting devices - iPhone iOS 13.2.
Junk
The app as well as the amp are junk, the quality of the software on both is pretty much nonexistent, clearly developed by the lowest bidder.
If you are a hipster that’s into retro user interfaces you will feel right at home both in the app (when it works) as well as with the onscreen interface of the amp, in my case the supposedly flagship RX-A3070, the purchase of which is a constant source of regret for me.
This the last of anything from Yamaha I will ever knowingly purchase.
