Hello Cap cut is a really good app but the thing is that you have to be logged in it and it wants :Your e-mail (could be g-mail ) or it wants you to log into apple OR then you can also sign in with facebook or tik tok and I think that it is like bad because they now something about you just for you can give likes and comments for others videos you can use and that’s not the only think I’m talking about. Like then you have to give them axes to your photos (the good thing is that you don’t have to do full axes) so that. And the last thing is … You can use ,,PRO” (that’s a + for that app ) and it isn’t even forever it is 12€ a month and like more than 100€ a year for having everything unlocked 🔓 so please 🙏 get that game but be careful what are you doing with it! I’m really sorry about it’s so long but I’m glad you redid it ❤️

Greetings, I wanted to say my opinion on this, hoping I would get an answer from a developer. This app was nice, I used to use it a lot a year or two ago, it was the best editing app, it was all free, had everything you needed and was just great overall. But now it changed. I tried to make some edits a while ago, I checked my CapCut and saw that it updated, so I decided to check what new was there. Maybe a new filter? Maybe a new text font? Maybe new text to speech voices? All wrong. Many things became paid. I was surprised, yes, but I didn’t mind it too much because the transitions, filters and fonts I used were still luckily available. I used it for a week or two again, it was nice to edit once again in a while, although some stuff was limited. I didn’t mind it, at all. The next week? All the things I used become limited. Everything I used, everything I liked, everything was limited. There were some things that weren’t limited yet, so I tried editing with the free things. I am still editing on this app, I will confess, but if even more stuff will become limited, I’ll switch to Alight Motion since very little stuff seems to be limited there and it has much more positive reviews. For anyone reading this, if you’re thinking about downloading this app to edit because you want to, don’t. Do not install this app. Sincerely, goodbye.

I’ve been using CapCut for about a year and I honestly loved it. It’s a great, intuitive app and it helped me a lot in my work as a small business owner creating reels and short videos. Until now, I would have highly recommended it.However, I just received an email saying that the annual subscription price is increasing from around 1,500 CZK to 7,000 CZK. That’s shocking. I understand that prices go up everywhere, but this feels completely disproportionate — almost a 500% increase.For a small entrepreneur, this is simply not affordable. This sudden and extreme price hike has seriously damaged my trust in the app. Because of that, I’m giving a low rating, even though the app itself is great. Unfortunately, pricing matters — and this decision feels very disconnected from real users.

Almost everything that used to be free is now locked behind a “Pro” subscription. Even basic things like exporting without a watermark or using common transitions now require you to pay. Every time you open the app, it feels like they’re trying to force you into buying something. The whole experience went from clean to chaotic.And don’t even get me started on the “AI” tools they advertise. Most of them barely work or are just bait to get you to upgrade. The background remover glitches constantly, the auto-captions make tons of mistakes, and half the smart tools just crash or freeze. It’s all smoke and mirrors — they throw words like “magic” and “AI” around to distract you from the fact that the features don’t do what they promise.The scariest part though? The privacy. If you actually read the terms, CapCut basically owns anything you create. Your videos, your voice, your data — it can all be collected, analyzed, and even reused without your permission. Since it’s owned by ByteDance, the same company as TikTok, it’s safe to assume your content could end up stored and processed on servers in China. It’s not just an editing app anymore — it’s a data funnel.And yeah, it runs terribly now. It’s laggy, buggy, and constantly pushing Pro ads in your face. What used to be a smooth app is now bloated, slow, and incredibly frustrating to use. Unless you’re willing to pay, you’re stuck with a crippled version of what CapCut used to be.
