The smartest way to pay for parking and move around the city of Prague. Citymove enables parking payments for all residential zones, P+R parking, and shopping centres. Save all your number plates, including a description or image of your car, select the parking zone and the length of parking and pay with one click. You can even terminate the parking session prematurely.
Citymove is a great partner for public transport in Prague. Search for public transport routes, explore timetables and routes of all lines or check out the location of your tram or bus on the map in real-time!
Citymove supports:

Just type in your destination, and Citymove will find you the best public transport routes. And if you prefer a car, it will list all parking options nearby. The worst app update I ever experienced

The update came with the worst possible timing - during parking in the middle of city with no time to spend several minutes with setting up the entite app. Neverthless when all is done application works just fine and fullfills everything you need from it. Thanks to the update I discovered that it is possible to park also on blue zones for limited time.

Developer updated recently application with following results - automated logout from account and not possible to login again unless password is reset, removed payment method so it is not possible to pay for parking unless you add, register and process testing payment again. That is crazy! Sitting in car, want to pay for short term parking, control cars passing by and I have to spend 20 minutes with setting the app completely again from the scratch. Have you ever thought about customer journeys, added value, etc.!?

Hello, We needed to change our partner for parking fee payments, and with this change, we are using a different payment gate. That's why it is necessary to log in again and add a new payment card. Where is Apple Pay?
The app is very good. Convenient replacement for MPLA. The best among other parking apps. But sorry, where is Apple Pay? If this option is not offered by your partners payment gateway, then partners needs to be changed, or update from them requested. Please bring Apple Pay to make it the best parking app.

Hello David, thank you for your review. Unfortunately, Apple Pay only enables one-off payments. While parking payments must enable repeated payments and preauthorised payments. Therefore, Apple Pay wouldn't enable the shortening or prolonging of parking sessions, which is one of the requirements from the city of Prague. Thank you for understanding.
Used to be great, now also expensive
I used the app quite extensively for parking, public transport tickets and occasionally for car or bike rentals. The app is very clear and easy to use.
However, it was never the only good app providing these services. That’s why it is strange that they would introduce (April 2024) an insane, up to 10% service charge fee on parking and 5% on public transport tickets and kill their user base.
PID Litacka for example provides nearly the same parking and public transport options at no extra fees. Obviously that’s the one I’ll be using from now on and leaving Citymove as a backup app for rentals. Very dissapointing from what I used to refer to as a great example of a service minded app.
