I do not understand why you cannot annotate your notes directly with a pencil on an Ipad. He app allows you to enter a new object with the drawings, but there is no way to highligh or otherwise annotate my notes.Also - there is a horrible experience with annotating pdfs. Using the highlighter for the text with a color of your choice is about 6 clicks away. Plus, when you start drawing next to another object you already created, it selects the existing object rather than starts a new highlight.Good app but makes me so upset that i does not work well on Ipad using pencil to make annotations. Not even in the highest available paid version. Probably will cancel my sub.

I am using Evernote since 2012. I was always satisfied. I am paying an Evernote Plus plan. But for a year or so, since there is a mandatory Home Screen with widgets on iPhone/iPad devices, which is absolutely not usable for me and it cannot be skipped, I am looking to find some other note-taking tool. It is horrible for me, no added value, and even as a paying customer I cannot get rid of it. I just want the possibility of the “old” way of doing things - after opening the app just go directly to last Notebooks/Notes. That is. That is simple. Giving 2 stars only because of what was good in the past. I would have given 5 stars if the “normal” way of operation on mobile devices is there - as all other things are working OK for me.

Can’t use it after update

When I’m using evernote app on my phone, I need fast access to write down smth or check the info. App is so slow after update. I don’t want to wait 30 sec every time I launch evernote. Sync works so much slower. Need to restart the app everytime after sync. Can’t move note to another notebook, it just doesn’t show you the list of notebooks. Thanks god desktop app is Ok. I’ve noticed that I just don’t use iOs app anymore. I send links and media to it, but I don’t open it anymore on my iphone/ipad. Leptop only. I’ve been using evernote for years, if it stays that way I’ll have to find another app, can’t work like that for longUpd: can’t use it on iphone/ipad. Can’t rely on it. Have to carry leptop everywhere. Fix it ASAP please

The old version was great. Simplistic, very clear and just working like a charm. Not sure why they feel like adding more and more functions is the way to go but for me it has become way too chaotic. I enjoyed the simplicity because everything was immediately clear so it was super effective and fast. This was the major advantage of Evernote for me. Not any more. Also, it used to be reliable. A life saver. Today I got locked out of my computer. Never mind, let’s open Evernote and get my pw. But Evernote won’t open my notes no matter how many times I closed the app, re-opened, the App didn’t let me see my pw. I don’t trust it anymore hence it’s useless for me. Thanks god for Apple Notes - reliable, simple to use, with great functionality.
