Managing your CHESTER devices in the field is a breeze with this app. You can use the application to perform in-field diagnostics, parameter settings, and firmware upgrades. HARDWARIO Manager communicates with CHESTER using Bluetooth Low Energy. The app can discover neighbor CHESTER devices or connect to a particular device by scanning a QR code on its backside. CHESTER is a configurable low-power IoT gateway from HARDWARIO. The gateway features optional NB-IoT, LTE-M, and LoRaWAN modules for outbound connectivity (LPWAN technology). Alternatively, CHESTER can be equipped with a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite module. Thanks to the broad range of hardware extensions (e.g., analog/digital inputs, precision ADCs, 1-Wire, RS-485 interfaces, and many more), it is designed to address a wide spectrum of applications such as machine monitoring, environmental sensing, and smart metering.
