Amazing game, BUT
It’s an amazing game, the gameplay is really great, easy and entertaining. However, there are some huge issues connected to the fact that the developers want to make more and more money.
Number 1 - ads. It’s crazy you have to watch an ad after every single game you play, it makes the feeling from the game really unpleasant. An ad after two or three games would be fine, but after each one is way too much.
Number 2 - paid characters. You can be great player but then you get a match with a same level player who has like two times stronger character as you do and you get just trashed, which is so frustrating.
I like play to win, not pay to win games, so this cannot get more than 3 stars.
Nerves
The rules to winning go basically like this:
1) if the oponent has a much better character, you loose. There is no point of even being in those games, you stand zero chance. You will see after 10 seconds that you cannot do anything.
2) if the characters are close-ish, the one with more super powers wins. And here is the catch, doesnt matter if the person uses the SP or not. Who has more, wins. The luck is so blatatly and visibly in that players favor that its disgusting. Characters with much worse jump and size suddendly jump higher than characters with much much better stats etc. Its so dumb. I have won matches simply because of dumb luck and I have lost matches simply cause of luck. In both cases it depends on no of superpowers. Again, they dont even have to be used.
There is ocasionally a game which isnt based on these rules but Id say its 1 in 50 or so.
Also, the punishment for camping is basically non existent, all u have to do is to leave the “penalty” area for a fraction of a milisecond and then you can camp happilly again for 10 seconds and do that over and over. Unfortunately the game doesnt punish it hard enough and its so easy to do a mistake while trying to attack that camping is basically encouraged.
Last point is that people with connection issues are basically always guaranteed to win, cause they lag and then the game restarts and the ball is already behind you.
Servers?!
I’ve downloaded this game cuz of searching for an easy game to play with my asian girlfriend cuz we’re far away from each other (I’m european).
Can’t find her in game. Can’t change server. But what game lets me do? Pay, pay, pay..screw that, I am so happy that I did not pay for anything in that cuz of unability to change servers so it would be worthlessly spent.
Two stars instead of one cuz game has potential. There would be 3 stars if there were no ads between matches (but only those we want to watch cuz we want some bonus reward). 5 stars if there was capability of changing servers so we could play with friends no matter of where they are from (or at least change server, which is possible in so many games).
