The app is highly specialised for being used in the field of Special Goods and Comodities Road Transportation, particularly dealing with items concerning health safety and Environment protection. HSSE specialists can communicate directly with their teams and coworkers through the facilities that the app has to offer.

The main principle behind the functionality of the platform is to serve each type of Special Goods and Comodities Road Transportation within a project-based approach. It provides clear and easy instructions on how to handle specific operations involved in the road transportation of special goods, such as: loading, handling, unloading, moving, packaging and disposing of any sort of special goods.

Each project is handled by an HSSE specialist, who is responsible for keeping the information up-to-date, keeping track of the events that might occur within the coordinated team, supplying expert answers to the questions raised by the team through the app, reviewing reports and alerts of potential danger situations that may occur during the day-to-day job.

The HSSC Specialist may provide support to multiple teams, which need to be defined at the begining of each project. These teams can be divided according to a wider range of criteria, such as geographical targetted transportation, type of goods being transported, special on-time projects or based on long-term customer contracts.

The teams themselves receive all the needed information for the day-to-day activity, always updated and in line with the specific tasks within the project that they are apart of. The information is available on their devices, they may ask questions within the application. The answers to these questions are evaluated if they apply to the person who raised them or if they apply to all the members of the team. If they apply to more or all the members of the team, then they get distributed to all the other team members so that knowledge is referred to all the members involved in the project.

The app also includes methods of communication by sending alerts within the audience which may be consisting of the entire team, some of the members of a team or just one member as per the need of communication. The goal of the alerts is to make all those involved aware of any potential danger in due time and to be prepared to apply the specific procedures which diminish or eliminate the risks. This is done through the push notification systems, which alert the team members that new information has been added in the application and it is in their interest to review it.

Among the features of the app is also the management and maintenance of the vehicles that are included in the project. The project manager defines the vehicle categories and the vehicles themselves which will be included in each of the projects. These data and features of these vehicles will be uploaded in the system together with a full set maintenance characteristics and other specialised permits required for them to be authorised in order to transport special goods. Afterwards the vehicles are assigned to the team members, and each team member becomes responsible for the maintenance routine checks which are needed in order for the vehicles to be compliant with the specific requests which apply in their specialized goods road transport area of expertise.

The team members which are responsible for keeping track of the well-being of the vehicles also receive alerts whenever a check-up or authorisation is required for the vehicle to be fully compliant with the norms, rules and specifications in line with their special goods transport destination.
