Description

Winner of the 2021 iF Design Award 2021. Bluelink 2.0 takes linking your smartphone to your Hyundai to another level: The new Bluelink app enhances your Hyundai driving experience even further with a whole new look and even more Connected Car features. Find your Hyundai, or use the map feature to find parking, fueling stations, nearby restaurants, or other points-of-interest. Then simply send the destination to the navigation system in your car.

You can also use your phone as a remote to lock or unlock your car, and, if you drive a Hyundai electric vehicle, the app lets you control charging, as well as cooling or heating.

Here’s a list of our most popular connected car features:
1. Find my car: Never forget where you parked again. A map pins your Hyundai’s exact location.
2. Send to car: Find parking spaces, fuel stations, restaurants or other points of interest and send the destination to your in-car navigation system.
3. Vehicle report: Monthly reviews of vehicle starts, driving and idle time, driving distance.
4. My trips: See a summary of previous trips including journey time, distance driven, average and top speeds.
5. Vehicle status: Check in on fuel or charging level, doors and windows, heat or air conditioning, and battery level and lamps.
6. Remote door lock/unlock: Lock and unlock your vehicle.
7. Remote climate control (EV only): Set the temperature and activate the air conditioning remotely.
8. Remote charging (EV & PHEV): Check and control the charging process.
9. View around My Vehicle: Turn on the camera in the outside mirror to see what it currently sees.
10. Alarm: Receive notifications when the door locks are compromised.
11. User Profile: Save your profile and car settings to the Bluelink-Cloud for backups and transfers to a new Hyundai.
12. Valet Parking Mode (select models): Monitor your car (location, driving time, driving distance and top speed) while somebody else is driving.
13. Last Mile Navigation: If your destination can’t be reached by car, the app can take you there on foot.
14: Calendar: Sync your phone’s calendar with the app.
15. Personalisation: Turn features on and off and customise your app’s home screen.

Handy app

Handy application. Especially remote lock/unlock and status monitoring.

What I’m missing are (i30 with 5W navi)
- remotely open just boot for one time open - the same functionality as normal key has
- my trips section to also display average consumption
- planning the route in more details - adding points along the way/avoid places - now only destination can be sent to the car and detailed planning then has to be done in car navi directly
- possibility to control windows

No remote start or defrost

Its really strange, that you cant use remote air conditioning or defrost, even if it’s totally legal in your country. Its one of the biggest disappointing on that beautiful and luxury car as santa fe phev is! Hyundai is trying to be on the same level as much more expensive car and in fact the car itself is. But small bugs like this one are really destroying experience. Its really essential to come at the morning in to the very comfortable conditions inside of your car even if outside is crazy weather. Please repair that faulty logic

Developer Response ,

Dear User, We are sorry that the app doesn't meet your expectations. What you mention is not a bug at all, we are providing remote climate control, but exclusively for our fully electric vehicles. It is in general due to our company's environmental policy; in addition in most of the countries idling an engine is forbidden by the law. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the other Bluelink features. Sincerely, Your Bluelink Team

Not happy with Hyundai approach

App is okish, but I hate removing functionallity, my Tucson learned new stuff you remove without warning few weeks later, if car is capable of turning on hazards lights by remote, keep the functionallity in, it is stupid to remove functionality, car should learn new tricks (open tailgate, close tailgate, close windows, blink lights, etc... all this is even non EV capable), now the app is almost useless only to check if car is locked...

Developer Response ,

Dear User, thank you for your review. We will forward your feedback to the responsible department. Sincerely, your Bluelink Team
