Verze 7.1.2

This update fixes a few small bugs. It includes all the great features in iA Writer 7.1:

- Major upgrade for iA Writer’s integration with Shortcuts
- 18 new actions to open, create, edit, and organize files
- This feature requires iPadOS 16.1, or iOS 16.1
- We’ve prepared a few practical shortcuts to show what’s possible, and to inspire you to create your own

# Open

- Open New: Opens a new note, ready to be saved to your Inbox folder as soon as you type.
- Add Diary Entry: Adds an entry to your Diary folder with the current date and time.
- Take Meeting Notes: Creates meeting notes document for your upcoming calendar event.
- Open Clipboard: Opens a new file with clipboard contents converted to Markdown.

# Save

- Dictate Text: Saves dictated text to your Inbox folder.
- Dictate To-Do: Saves dictated text to your To-Do file.
- Read Later: Saves a web article to your Read Later folder.

Focused writing, great idea, needs improvement

Hey, I’ve been using your app on both my Mac and iPhone for the past year. I write everything in iA and I think the concept is brilliant.

There are a few things I’d love for the app to improve at
- iPhone (11) / MacBook Pro 2019, when I write a long document and reopen the app, I always have to start scrolling from the top to the bottom, it doesn’t happen automatically. The longer the document gets, the longer it takes to get to the actual writing
- performance: it might be with the long documents I write, but the app and the actual writing seems to get slower in time. The performance issues are sometimes so bad that I have to open the iOS default notes and write my note there
- syncing between devices - I’d love to not have to confirm every time I made a change of the docs at a different device.

Thanks for this review and feedback. command + down arrow should jump to the end of the document. If you are using touchscreen on iOS the ⌘ keyboard has a "Go to End" key for this.

For long docs, some slowdown can occur with particularly long doc. This should't prohibit you from typing within a few seconds but if you're frequently experiencing lag with longer documents, you may want to take advantage of the /Content Blocks feature.

For sync, are you seeing version conflict error or something similar? Please feel free to reach out to us at support@ia.net with as many details as possible for this. We'd like to learn more.

Great app with minor issues

I love the app, have moved all my writing into it. Just one thing - it drains battery pretty fast. I use it on iPad pro with plenty of power, I dont get why a text editor takes so much power. Playing videos or photo editing takes less energy than aI writer. This is quite serious for me because I write off-grid to concentrate..
