Thanks for using iConnectHue!

Dear users, we have noticed that a considerable number of users have missed the information about the Home Widget. This has somewhat surprised us, as we introduced it 4 months ago and have not made any changes since then. We have therefore adjusted the app to improve clarity regarding the Home Widget.

With the 2024 upgrade, you can access 1 small and 1 medium-sized Home Widget. However, we recommend considering a membership due to its many additional benefits – which is why we show this information first.

If you have any questions, please reach out to our support directly – you can contact us easily via the app in the menu “Help & More” -> “Contact.”

Halloween Animations!

Following our yearly tradition, we've made our Halloween Animations available again to everybody, which now includes 8 spooky animations!
As always, available for free until mid November, or, with Membership, available all year.

Hint: You can also put these on motion sensors and switches or timers, if you want some extra-scariness (w/ Membership or Animation Upgrade).

Support for new Hue effects

We've added support for Philips' new effects, they're available for every light under the "effects" menu.

Note that their availability depends on whether you have the latest bridge firmware (1.66), your lights support them and that Philips enabled them for your bridge. If they're not available right now, try to check for a new firmware and/or give it a few days until they're announced by Philips themselves.
(Available for every Member or w/ 2024 upgrade or when purchased in 2024)

Classic Widgets and iOS 18

Please note that Apple discontinued support for the Classic Widgets in iOS 18, hence you can only use Home Widgets with it. We've put a lot of work into making Home Widgets do the same and more, albeit working completely different and being more restricted, and we recommend you to make the switch to them.

If you want to stay with the Classic Widgets, the only way is not to install iOS 18. But please note that due to issues in iOS' app extension handling, we've found that Classic Widgets are not as reliable as they used to be - we're sorry about that, but at the same time, cannot do anything about it, as we do not have access to iOS' internals. Again, we recommend to use Home Widgets instead by now.

Please restart your device if your Widgets are not working out of the box after this update due to iOS' extension handling.

Simply the best!

Everything I was missing in the Hue app is here, great job! :)

Filled with microtransactions

When I buy an app, I usually assume I am paying for some extra features. This app gives you same controls you get with Philips Hue app and charges extra for inside the app for anything you want to do. So if you plan to set new color scenes - pay, if you want some animations - pay... I don’t consider this honest. I don’t care about the money but hate this attitude.

Dimmer HUE

Po zakoupeni HUE dimmer jsem byl trochu v rozpacích že jsem si v originální aplikaci nemohl na každé tlačítko nastavit zapnutí jiných prvků v jiné místnosti. Díky této aplikaci je všechno možné vyladit do posledního detailu! Díky, za 100kč paráda. Trochu ostuda pro Philips že to neumí…
