Instagram 12+

I love this app so much, daily usage for approximately three hours for texting and watching reels… BUT
There is one annoying bug which is making me really angry, and that’s the thing that I can’t follow new people.
I can follow some accounts, others I can’t. There’s some error saying that there are some new features which are trying to keep Instagram a safe place, so I can’t follow a new Instagram account. When I try it the next day, it doesn’t work again. The problem is occurring for one week straight and I haven’t found a solution. When it pops up, I can tap “OK” or “write opinion to this function”. When I click write a review, it closes and say “thank you for your reply, your replies makes instagram even better blah blah blah….”. Doesn’t even give me a chance to report a bug..
Saying again, besides this one bug I really really love this app, but this is quite limiting me.
PS: I have read that there are some limited amount or followed or unfollowed accounts per day, but that’s not the case with me

I love Instagram and all, but there is a problem that is a thing with dm. When I try loading direct messages that I should have had, they did not load, it only showed a loading screen, and the dms only appeared when I tried to make a new chat with someone. The old messages will still be on the chat, but every time I exit and reenter Instagram, the dms will disappear and a loading page will pop up, as if it was trying to open the dms, but it never did. I’m experiencing this problem for 3 days now, and I’m gonna quit Instagram and find a better option if the problem will not be fixed within a week.

Ps. I did check if it was a problem with my phone or Instagram, and neither showed negative results. The Instagram was the latest version, and my iOS also the latest. So I don’t know what is wrong. I did try resetting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling Instagram, nothing.

Appalled at how dysfunctional the app has become. I’ve had a personal/professional account for a number of years and decided to set up a separate one for my hobbies (yoga & astrology). Soon after I started following pages, I encountered issues - supposedly Instagram has decided my account is spam and forbade me from following further pages and unfollowing those I have managed to follow. Why would anyone have an account if not to follow others? Of course, when someone sets up a new account, a lot of activity happens on it, that’s only a natural way to start using the app and not a spam. I contacted the help centre twice but received no response. In the meantime the app has also forbade me to comment on anything with this new account (though I have not yet commented with it on any post ever and only tried it for a competition post, definitely not on anything improper), and later to even load the content of pages I look up. In comparison, I’ve never had any issues with my previous account. I could not be more disappointed by the app and its customer support. Opening a new account opened my eyes to the stupidity of all its new algorithms - I wish the best of luck to all new users...
