The story behind this game is that my smartphone got damaged, requiring me to revert back to an old phone. Suddenly I knew the smartphone was missing something and the idea for a accurate Snake remake was born.
Snake '97 is an homage to the classic mobile phone game programmed in 1997.
By carefully analyzing the classic gameplay, timing and controls, this Snake '97 remake is one of the most accurate available.

I’ve still got a couple of old Nokias at home, and I can see that this is an absolutely precise “emulation”; all the way down to the different versions available on specific Nokia models.I’d appreciate it if there was a possibility to pay for a version without ads, though; that’s the only thing that bugs me here.

The game is great, but the necessity of having an internet connectionis so annoying. I understand they need to have the money from advertisement, but most of the time I want to play is I when I am out of the data and I can't spend the time by reading news/browsing... Eg. In the subway.
