LEGO BOOST set (17101) Feature List
- Includes 844 LEGO® pieces, plus a LEGO Move Hub, Interactive Motor and a Color & Distance Sensor.
- Move Hub features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, 2 encoded motors, activation button, internal tilt sensor and a light.
- Interactive Motor is an encoded motor.
- Color & Distance Sensor detects distance, motion and color, and can also function as a light.

Microphone

Hello,

The app works ok, after one day of kid’s play.

We did, however, run into one issue. The issue is related to the microphone command. Whenever we add the microphone comand to the program, it almost mutes the sound volume for the whole running program. Thus, it´s practically inaudible what the robot is asking, so the whole program doesn’t make sense anymore without sounds. When I remove the microphone command from the program, the sounds of the whole program are back to working normally. We are using latest (yesterday’s) version of the app.

LEGO account is a hassle

Guys I love the idea, variety of robots that we can build from the set, now even combination with other sets

Just that the LEGO account... I mean why all the policies about password setting etc.? Honestly, it’s not that you are logging me to my account with million $$$, right? You just force me to write and store the password somewhere - so your stupid rules make it all LESS secure.

And now I logged in to 2 iPads .... and the progress did NOT synchronize... huh, isn’t it nice when things just work?

Anyway I am going to play now...

Hello! Good point you got there. The main user group for LEGO apps is children and we want to make sure their details remain in a well-protected and safe environment. Safety is our number one concern above user comfort. However, we constantly look to find the right balance between the two values.
As for the synchronization; The progress is saved on the app's memory of the device and can't be exchanged to a different device by synchronizing them together. Hope this helps. We apologize for the inconvenience. - Samuel -
