Description
There has never been a better time to get into XMPP, a free public chat network no one controls or owns. Monal is a fast and user friendly way to use XMPP. Just download the app, login or register and you are ready to chat in minutes. It looks and works the way other apps do, so there is no need to “learn XMPP” or even care what it is.

Smog
Stále se zlepšující aplikace. Musím pochválit vývojáře za pilnou práci, protože aplikaci jsem stáhl když neuměla téměř nic a dnes je to použitelná aplikace. Jen tak dál!
Mostly working when in foreground, lots of strange bugs
This app is strange. I appreciate the possibility of connecting to a self signed server. Having a local history is also very pleasant. And I very much appreciate a direct connection without involving any 3rd party. Unfortunately, it doesn't load your offline contacts until they log in at least once. There is this option in Settings but apparently it doesn't work. Sometimes even these contacts don't appear after disabling and re-enabling an account. The app sometimes crashes when you want to see a log and sometimes it doesn't store the log correctly (I have part of my history logged as 'null' contact). That applies when it's running in foreground. When the app is running in background, other online apps are VERY slow even if this app shouldn't be transmitting anything. Also, it disconnects quite often. Try this for quick chatting if security is essential for you but don't rely on it too much. iPad Air, iOS 8.2
