Arcam streamer ST60 control problem (Tidal, internet radio)
It’s hard to believe that such a great brand offers such a poor application for their product(s), especially if I have no other option, how to control the device. I want to play Tidal music or internet radio, but it’s impossible to select these sources in the streamer menu. Why do you offer control of 4 different digital inputs (if you sell the product as a streamer) and you don’t offer any control of source for streaming service? Does it make any sense? The only way how to control streaming services is to use your application, which doesn’t work properly? In my case (iPad, IOS 16.6.1) the streamer gets connected, but the application doesn’t react. You can press any button, but the application doesn’t react. The streamer’s got great sound, but it’s such a discredit, if you can’t control your device. I had to search forums to find solution, how to replace your defective application. I finally found advice from other unsatisfied customers. Buy Mconnect player application to control ST60 streamer. The other was is to use standard IOS Tidal application and stream the sound via airplay. In both cases MusicLife application usually starts to work after a while.
Please update your application and add control of streaming services in firmware. Advice for other customers. Before you decide to buy a streamer from Arcam, read forums for satisfaction with the device.
Poor
Unable to connect my NAS DLNA service, hires radio stations plays 44,1 khz, poor app. My Synology NAS worked few times with this app, but now I am unable to find it as a source of music. All my other devices works just fine, only arcam sa30 with this app doesnt work. Very frustrating.
iOS 15 incompatibility
The app doesn’t work in streaming mode under iOS 15 👎
