Could you just remove the rong emotikon from the right bottom corner? Its the worst place where you could put it.
Duplicates OR overlapping activities
The app is good by itself until you want to use its full potential with tracking activities and using tags. The issue is activities. There is only a start and activity duration—no END time. When you add an activity (for example, run for 20 min that started at 2:34 pm), and you want to add work out after, you have to calculate 2:34 pm plus 20 min = 2:54 pm. That’s the time you can add a new activity. Otherwise, it won’t show up, BUT it somehow adds to your statistics and tags, and you cannot edit it because there is no way to edit. What's more - if you delete the Oura app and install it again, those hidden activities show, BUT you can’t edit it nor delete, so your data and statistics are screwed. In my case, I have a bunch of duplicates as well. Oura became pointless, so why use activity and tags when it doesn’t work at all as they advertise? I’m annoyed - paying for the product. Soon paying a monthly fee for an app that doesn’t work and being a QA tester for the Oura development team—it’s unbelievable.
Oura makes customers of Gen 2 unhappy
I bought an Oura Ring Gen 2 a few months ago and loved the guided meditations. Though, After the App Update 4.0.4 all guided Meditations have been removed and can only be used with the Oura Ring Gen 3 plus paid membership.
Oura itself states, that hardware limitations are the reason for the removal.(which is not logical, as it has worked before with Gen 2 rings)
From my opinion, Oura tries to force their customers to buy the latest Generation by removing previously existing functionalities in the App. I am dissapointed about that and it gives me a bad opinion about the Oura ring and the product strategy behind.
Be aware about that if you think about to buy an Oura ring. You will get constraints with your ring, once a newer version of the ring gets launched.
