So easy you can forget about it
The hallmark of a great app is that you never have to think about it, because it just works. Here I can just start the app and go, never worried if the podcast is downloaded and whether it will start wherever I stopped it last time. While this might sound trivial, I never take such small miracles for granted. Thanks.
The search for the one podcasting app is finally over
This app does everything I should ever need as a podcast listener and more, and it does that right, in a sweet and simple way. And it is perfectly blind-accessible with the iOS built-in VoiceOver screen reader. What else is there to ask for in a podcasts app?I am just delighted!
Better than Apple’s Podcasts app
Overcast is much simpler and easier to use than Apple’s Podcasts, despite offering more features and customizations. The best feature for me is the “Smart Speed”, which shortens pauses and silence in podcasts, saving me time without sacrificing intelligibility.
