Am i being scamed?

Hello, i just wanted to ask, someone ,,sent me money” and told me that i have to pay a fee by buying bitcoin on some other platform (moonpay) i am new to this app, so i don’t know if its true.. he says that its his business account, so thats why.. is it a scam? There’s nothing showing up on my app about recieving anything

Terrible

Terrible app, terrible service. Everywhere you go it just gives you an error. I tried to log in to my old account, I couldn’t because my old phone number doesn’t exist and there is no way to change it. You cant contact PayPal support without logging in. You cant log in without an SMS verification. Had to make a new account. I tried to change my billing adress, didnt update after changing it. I removed my credit card because the billing address was incorrect. Tried putting it back, it said my card is already being used under a different account! Tried to make a payment, didn’t work. It just said that there is an error and gave me a button that said “check your account”. After pressing that it just sends you to a page where you can reset your password.

Dev response does not help! Still the same issue. They can not even read what is the problem properly! Still will not let me in without my old phone number! There is no such thing, as “logged out” contact option. Just their AMERICAN-ONLY phone number, which firstly is not reachable, because they dont have a 24/7 customer support and they clearly do not realize that countries that are not in the USA have different time zones. So good luck calling them at 3AM european time. Also i hope you have a big wallet as calls into the USA cost a hefty penny.

Then, scroll down and you will see the logged-out contact options. This does not require you to be logged in. -Lisa

Extremely unpleasant experience

Probably the worst money transfer app. It has unclear and very high fees, in case you need refund, it is up to you, paypal does not take any responsibility. Whatmore it allows you to send money on the accounts by email, even if such an account does not exist yet. The recepient then is informed to sign up for paypal to receive his money. I would say unethical practice.
App also has annoying technical issues. Some notifications are in Polish language (wondering why) and other notification are unreadable in ios becuse they do not fit the screen.
