would be great if it worked properly

i’m new to photography, but i’m pretty sure this isn’t working quite like it’s supposed to. i have the ISO setting locked on 200, hence i’m expecting both shutter speed and aperture to adjust according to the surroundings. however, for some reason unknown to me the aperture is stuck on f2 no matter what i point the camera at (although it’s not locked) and the only setting that changes is the shutter speed (reaching 1/8000 and 1/16000, which simply makes no sense when you could just make the aperture smaller). would be extremely grateful if this could be fixed :)
