The app offers (but does not require) a Plex Pass In-App Purchase. Plex Pass is available for the equivalent of US$4.99 charged monthly to your iTunes Account, charged yearly for the equivalent of US$39.99, or as a one-off lifetime payment for the equivalent of US$149.99. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off in your iTunes Account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, charged at the same rate for renewals. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

- Fix bug where user's "Continue Watching" would count towards another user's account.
- Fixed a bug that meant users with Plex Pass might not have been able to change the app icon.
- Managed accounts with no shared libraries could not be deleted.

Plex pass subscriber
Great app, only photos and livetv needs some polishing...
many glitches
there are bugs in main functions. It was nightmare to install / configure plex server / app. For example today is stucked sync because server does not have at 10 least 10GB space left. However server has 1.2TB left. Synced content is unable to switch language nor turn on subtitles. Streamed videos always start play with wrong language. Also today I got a new bug, streamed video is transcoded to low quality 720p, the reason it say 'no direct connection available'. How can be something widely used so bad?! And there is a lot more glitches. Cannot give more than 1 star.
Good when it works, sync feature still broken
Sync feature is broke almost to the point where it’s useless. Downloads freeze and you can’t cancel them.
Worst of all, if are lucky enough to have synced your data, when you finally decide to delete it you’ll find the data is not freed. You need to delete the whole app including its data and then sync the rest in order to clear the space.
Judging from their official forum this has been a issue for over two years. They have done absolutely nothing to address it. I plan on cancelling my premium subscription due to this.
Plex is mediocore but still the best there is. It desperately needs a competitor.
