a bit disappointed, but hopeful

hi, I was really excited about the release of this app, and i unfortunately do have to say that I'm not thrilled so far. here's what my issues with the app are:
1) presets for frame rates, I know these are standards but a lot of people such as myself enjoy animating on FPS lower than 12
2) double tap on apple pencil doesn't swap the drawing and erasing tool. it's not impossible to work with, just extremely impractical
3) the flow isn't as smooth as on procreate, which is a shame since that's one of my favourite features of the drawing app
4) can't edit paintbrushes - again, why? most of them are too thin to be used properly
5) and my biggest issue so far - no selection or lasso tool. makes hand drawn animation absolutely impossible.
I really hope that most of these problems get fixed eventually, I have a lot of hope for this software - procreate as it is is one of my all time favorite apps, and I see so much potential in procreate dreams!

Hey Inky - Thank you for using Procreate Dreams and for sharing your feedback with us. Apple Pencil double-tap for switching tools has been added in the latest Procreate Dreams 1.0.5, along with some other new features and fixes. Selections and Transform tools are currently in development and should be with you in the near future. Besides, custom frame rate has been listed as a requested feature and it is possible that it will become available in future releases.

As for Brush editing, Brush Studio was designed specifically for Procreate as a dedicated painting software and we are planning to keep it exclusive to Procreate for the foreseeable future. That being said, some basic edits will be included later on and all custom edits that you made in Procreate will be preserved when you import the brush from Procreate into Procreate Dreams.

In terms of the flow, could you give us a bit more information or a few examples? User experience is critically important to us and we would love to hear from you, so we can improve and deliver a better creative experience for you. 🙏

Great tool but be patient

I love this tool so far as a complete beginner, but I need to also say that even it feels smooth to work in it… in the same time you feel the app still have some bugs. The most noticeble for me is the often crashing. (I am working on iPad Air 3rd gen)
Which is for sure something i believe will be fixed in the near future since the release was few days ago.
The app features feels very refined, I love that the developers wanted the users have just the most important things they need.
And if you already have Procreate, you might be pleasantly suprised how smooth it is to export/import simple layer or project to Dreams by simple drag and continue in you work in few seconds.
As I said, I love it but in the same time I am looking forward to some important fixes that this app deserves.

Realy good, but glitches

When I opened the app I was so exited to use it for the first time, exactly as in procreate. The animating proces is so fun and easy, but there is a few problems too. When i tried to delete a dream, it didn’t work, or when i was trying to undo something, it just cleared the whole layer.
When i don’t count the glitches, I’m still a little bit confused, that there isn’t the laso tool! I use this tool a lot so it would be great if you can add that. 🙂

We are happy to share that Selections for Draw & Paint is being worked on at the moment and we are trying to get it to our users as soon as we can. It will, however, still need a bit of time in development. 🙏 As for the undo issue, we would recommend heading into a movie in Procreate Dreams > tap the movie title > Preference and increase your Stored Undo Steps here, as this may mitigate the problem and reduce the chances of encountering the bulk undo. In terms of other glitches, we would recommend updating to Procreate Dreams 1.0.7 and testing if things are improved for you.
