Pretty good game

I just don’t understand how people find this hard after a few dozen levels and head over here to give it 1*. It’s not the developers fault you’re dumb.

But honestly, I’m on a level 1639 and some of them are ridiculously hard at this point. Not so hard you can’t finish them, of course.

Good monetization model, you don’t have to spend anything unless you want the game to get easier. I never spent a penny and I’ve been playing for like 3 years I think. With pauses as long as half a year. Apart from the obvious whaling, there is a battlepass sort of deal available for anyone interested in more turns, something I would recommend to people that are giving up after 25 levels.

I have seen none of the “fake ads” the other reviews mention, so nothing on that front from me, 5/5.

From 150 onwards you need boosters

And how do you get boosters? You pay. It’s super easy in the beginning of course. You’re swamped with boosters as they get thrown at you. Eventually the levels get harder and harder and your boosters dwindle away. They give you a sense of urgency and FOMO (Feeling Of Missing Out) by saying you’ll lose certain boosters if you don’t pay some coins to try again if you don’t manage the level on the first try.

They augment that by creating a volcano of sorts where you see (presumably) fake profile pictures fall into the lava. The volcano gives you rewards if you finish a level on the first try, after 7 levels. But as said they get harder and harder. So you see the profile pictures fall and think “hah I made it they didn’t” but eventually you’ll fall into the lava too.

And the only way to avoid the lava, the failure of not being able to continue, is to pay. And that’s fine, if you like the gameplay loop.

Too easy

Lvl 116 and I have decided to stop playing because this game is ridiculously easy. Maybe it is not meant for people my age LOL. Maybe it’s a game for kids mainly. Sometimes I finish a level with 15+ remaining moves. I always get unlimited hearts and unlimited starting bonuses. (Like total of 7). I don’t have any color gems in the game, only bombs, propellers, etc. that makes the game too easy I think
