Systems supported by this app will continue to receive bug fixes and security patches but will not receive new software features found in the new Sonos S2 app and will not be compatible with Sonos products released after May 2020. Buy Sonos for sound, not for other capabilities
I really love the sound and that’s good enough reason to buy Sonos. But otherwise... a big disappointment. Connectivity problems, often unable to connect to music services, app UX and speed, inconsistencies,...it really pisses me off. The reason I write this review is that I have to reset my router once again to be able to stream music. Sonos, if you read this, look on the app with a fresh eyes and make it again from scratch.
Unreliable and faulty
I have been using Sonos for quite a few years and it has never worked properly. It disconnects every few minutes even though wifi signal is excellent, it leaves out songs in playlists, as though the songs were never included, and worst of all, it plays music only while I actively use phone and disconnects immediately after I leave the phone on the table. I really wish we had an other system in our house. Sonos is very dissapointing.
