You can transfer and save photos and videos you have already taken, and use your smartphone as a remote control for the camera for remote shooting. Photos and videos taken can be transferred to cloud storage or a smartphone for centralized management. Data transfer can be performed while shooting or while the camera is turned off or charging. It is such a shame that third party apps can be connected to camera without any issue but the “official” app cannot be connected via bluetooth even after many attempts. I have ZV-E1 and I cannot find a way how to connect. App is completely useless.. Sony, maybe next time do nothing. That would be better because at least we dont have to spend time with your useless apps.

Not only the UX and overall app quality is beyond any imaginable lows of any standards, it plain simply doesn’t function in its basic features such as view and import images. This should be banned from AppStore. It’s an embarrassment and endless customer frustration. It’s hard to believe someone at Sony is running this and thinks it’s ok.

It is just a piece of crap. Non intuitive and confusing. Where is the japanese sense of perfection? Make a connection to camera is pain. Using this make me a thinking about sepuku. Shame on you, Sony developers!
You can now upload multiple untransferred photos and videos from your camera or smartphone to Creators' Cloud storage. You can also specify upload criteria such as shooting format or rating.
