Starbucks CEE 4+

The app used to work just fine for most of the time. I myself installed it right when Starbucks launched it in my country. Recent few month have been a horror though. It logs off too often. With every new logging in the “shake to pay” function is automatically turned off and needs to be re-activated. Also the barcode used to pay with the Starbucks card is not displayed correctly. This last bug has occurred a couple months back and the staff at cafes says they are familiar with it. Seems to be a problem on multiple devices. Yet the app developer doesn’t seem to be able to fix it. Not to mention that TouchID/FaceID used to be required in order to top up the Starbucks card using an online payment method. Finally, multiple newer stores in the Czech Republic are not to be found on the map even though they’ve been in business for over a year now. (Could this be a problem in other Central European countries as well)?

Generally, the app works fine, but there are some issues that occur regularly. Most frequently I can’t log in to the app and have to wait couple weeks for an update. Recently, I have an issue with payments. When I open the card, I can see only about a third of the barcode and it is difficult to read it during payment. Otherwise, it works fine.

I downloaded the app when Starbucks opened in my area last year. I was able to add my card but faced several UI problems when trying to switch payment method to other card. UI becomes white, font matches background and it becomes imposible to add credentials.

Right now after last update I’m not able to log in into my account. I had golden membership, it’s kinda frustrating not being able to collect stars 🌟 anymore.

iPhone 7 Plus, IOS 15.7.4, I would be thankful if you could recommend something to bring the app back to work on my phone without switching it to a newest model 😄
