I think it’s really useful app it gives u sweatcoins from walking and watching videos. U can buy presents for friends and family just for delivery cost, that is amazing it saved me a lot money and my presents are now useful!

Privacy

Basically you sell your information: they will track all they can and use those information for business. No thanks, I value my privacy.

Update: Response from devs: its never sold to third party.

How about the part of privacy policy where you say: “We work with third parties from time to time (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers and credit reference agencies) who may provide to us information about you. This may include your purchase history from business partners who supply you with rewards made available via the Sweatcoin App.”. How do they provide info about me if they don’t know who am I?

Not enough?
“Further, we may, from time to time, expand or reduce our business which may involve the transfer of certain divisions or assets of our company to other parties, and the data we store and use, where relevant, may be transferred to such third parties.“

Disappointed

I’ve been using this app for around 4 years now. I’ve always left it open. What really drew me in was the fact that Sweatcoins actually used to be worth something - you could buy iPhones and get cash with just straight Sweatcoins.
Now, the only offers available are 50% off discounts for stupid and useless products, where the discount is already available to everyone on the internet anyways. Anything you actually can buy entirely with Sweatcoins ends up costing real money, as you have to pay anywhere from €6 to €15 shipping.

It’s cool that we can donate to charities and stuff with our Sweatcoins - I’m 100% in support of that. The auctions are alright as well, but what happened to the main shop section? It’s been horrid for the last 2 years.

So this is where I ask - what is the point of this app anymore? We are wasting our phone batteries by leaving it open all the time and walking/running for a nearly useless currency. Trash.
