No trial

No way I’m going to buy subscription before trying the app. What the hell, where is a trial to test it before buying?

Developer Response ,

Hi KeaCraft, we've just launched our one week free trial. We'd love you to try the app :-)

Won’t be purchasing

I love Joe but Unfortunately this app is not very useful so I won’t be going beyond the free trial until it is.
Food - you get 72 recipes to choose from and they are not categorized into breakfast/lunch etc so if you workout first thing in the morning the options are beef stroganoff as well as “breakfast” food which is annoying. Also you have the option to create your own recipes because they give the appropriate grams for your goals, but it doesn’t let you actually create the recipe in the app so it can be added to the food diary. So in the food diary you can only add their recipes which is silly.
Exercise - there are plenty of exercise options but only 5 that you can add to your daily plan. Why can’t you add the other workouts to your plan? Its silly because 5 exercises are not enough for 30 days. Bonus is that you don’t have to search on YouTube for joes workouts.
Stats - the only good thing.
Overall - the daily plan for exercise and eating is very restrictive. So I did a workout and a warmup and a cooldown (all via the app) today and ate boiled eggs and bagel but I cannot add this to my daily plan because why?? Make it more flexible and give people the ability to add other workouts to the plan as well as a proper food diary and then it’ll be worth it.

Was expecting more, disappointing

I love Joe’s videos so I was looking forward to trying the app too. I was expecting a lot based on the way how it’s promoted. But the actual experience was very disappointing. It doesn’t really gives you any plan except for few videos and recipes that feel way too generic and not really based on your goals. I’m really glad I did the free trial though so I didn’t spend money on something rather useless. I will definitely continue working out with Joe but rather on youtube with free videos!
