It works but thanks to users not creators

Tinder became popular because of swiping and simple selection of the ones you like. Even free of charge U can have a date but that's all. App is missing critical categories and descriptions of users to better select your preferences. Just because the creators think that it's all about user picture. Nope dear creators. There are scam profiles as anywhere but not a problem. U are force to swipe many times through users U don't even know if they logged in in last weeks. How is person tall is very often a mystery as well as age. You can do unwanted matches accidentally. On the other side if you unmatched with someone accidentally there's no way how to get back to him or her.
And the "finest" the price for the additional features is madly high for that quality you get. Sorry guys there could be so many features implemented but who would try when there are already a plenty of paying users. For many years I have not seen any major improvements just basic ones which I would expect to have from the start. You can do better that's why just only 3/5. And yes if you forgot your email and you want it to change as a dialog offers you during relogin you will start a new profile. Yay. This nonsense and maybe more is resisting due to lack of testing and quality assurance.

The connection disappears by itself

The connection disappears by itself. We had already arranged a date, everything was perfect, and then the connection disappeared. I'm not the only one this has happened to. Confirmed from both sides, when they text through another platform, none of them removed the connection. It happened many times to many people.

Is there some AI algorithm that prevents from dating specific types of people ? I'm just curious, but I'm uninstalling this application after the subscription expires anyway..

Banned on the first day after trying to verify account!

Well, I experienced the same situation as many people here. Decided to come back to tinder after a break, paid for description, tried to verify account… and in a few hours got banned FOREVER! How is it even possible?! Wrote to support but unfortunately they didn’t care at all. I gave them the whole picture of the situation, described what could cause it. I understand that some algorithms could find it weird (for example to sign up again with the same pictures, who knows). The only thing I asked is the human assistance, cause if they could check it, they would see, that there were absolutely no reason for ban. Especially for ban FOREVER! They didn’t even bother with normal answer, just sent me automatic reply. Such a disappointment

Upd: after I saw developer’s reply. I was hoping that maybe they noticed so many people trying to get help. As per developer’s reply here I contacted support again. Explained all the situation, trying to get some help, but no. Still got the same automatic message, that I violated guidelines and rules(I have read it multiple times and I violated nothing).

Rates for features

I enjoy Tinder - already met several cool people, but recently it’s really getting on my nerve how they change prices, making certain features more expensive. I have the Platinum subscription and up until few days ago I could Super-like five times a day. All of the sudden it changes to five times a week?!?! As a paying user I’d think that these top features stay the same. The same with their Boost feature - not only have they made it impossible to buy three for a certain price, you can now buy one for the SAME price as the three boost from two weeks ago… I understand price changes of in-app purchases for the features, but you made the subscriptions pointless by limiting the features included in them, because that was my only motivation to pay for the subscription itself.

Tinder banned me for NO REASON

Well, after a year I decided to actively come back on Tinder, in order to fresh start, I decided to delete the app/my account and then proceed to register again using my previously used credentials. I even bought Tinder Platinum, to have a proper “Tinder experience”.

Tinders response? They thought I was probably some bot or something and I had to verify myself via the standard verification process. The one which is only supposed to take a few mins. Well, it took a little more. So I got a little impatient.

I contacted Tinder support in order to deal with this situation, explain what has happened and ask them for their help, as their paying customer (SUBSCRIBED TO THEIR HIGHEST LEVEL SUB).

While the support was initially at least seemingly trying to help. They achieved nothing. Nada. Zero.

They kept saying my account is working perfectly fine according to their information. The opposite was the truth. I was unable to do anything.

After about a week, I checked Tinder, if my issue was finally resolved and got verified. Result? I git banned. For no reason. With probably no way to appeal this ban.

Thank you for amazing experience.

Hope you go bankrupt.

Yours,

Previously paying customer

Ultimately will make you feel bad

I used tinder to find my match. My female friends, colleagues all sync on the thing that I am good looking and entertaining, even gave them the app to check my profile description and photos to judge if there is something off putting.
What is fun that in my country I get only likes which are hidden and matches with people which I haven’t even swiped right.
Once I arrived to different country, I’ve got ton of matches, but nobody willing to talk… in my country only hidden matches. Once you uncover the matches with gold, you find out the likes are of people which are definitely not your type… and tinder knows that 😄

Yeah, the app is mostly waste of time… and if you are a girl using it… huge amount of matches, but you will have to really pick your way through 😄😄

They stole your $, biometric details, and contacts.

I recently purchased a gold account, and shortly after that, I received a notification requesting account verification. I reluctantly submitted the requested photos to prove my identity, but my account was banned nonetheless. Consequently, I contacted their 'customer support,' which is evidently not customer support, as they neither assist me as a customer nor address my concerns. Instead, they repeatedly accuse me of breaking their rules, despite I am 200% sure that I did not violate any of them. To make matters worse, they not only took my money but also acquired my biometric details in the form of actual photos meant for identity verification. I 'highly recommend' this app if you want to risk losing your money, hard-earned contacts, or having your identity details compromised.

Tinder really?

This app is Pay to win. Ok this is Tinder Business model I know but… even when you Pay, nothing really happens. Most of the people use Tinder just for Instagram followers boost. Also the algorythm works pretty shady for me. When you Pay, you play, but it’s totally not worth it. Go to the pub, go to the public, Start with team sport… It´s cheaper. Even if you think you are not interesting, you can’t find people. Tinder is waste of Your time and money. Sorry to the developers. I am just saying, that people wants Find love in life and you grab money from it… Do it in a way that helps people

On the other way, it could be fun and Ok for some people. Try it, you will see.

Money Squeezing Machine

I have been using Tinder on and off for years, so I know that I should be getting matches... IF MY PROFILE IS VISIBLE AT ALL. Now, 24 hours after creating my profile and paying for basic Tinder Plus, I have 0 matches. As a woman, an attractive woman. And every 10 swipes I get an add for their Tinder Platinum feature that “will push my profile up to the people I swiped right on”, honestly, this is just terrible. Not only this app is designed to not find a relationship and get you hooked on swiping constantly for years, but now also they hold your visibility hostage to get more money from you. Sorry, not paying 30 EUR a month for nothing, choke on your capitalist greed, guys, I peace out!

Not a bad app but way overhyped

Had a relatively good experience overall, there are obvious benefits that being a paid member give you however using the app for free is a very viable option. However, this review is rated so low due to the incompetence that comes from Tinder’s customer support. Not only was I permanently banned for no reason, I tried to request assistance multiple times inquiring into why I was banned but it was to no avail. I was faced with copy and paste generic replies, and when they got sick of replying they told me that they can provide no “further assistance” and will not reply further. As far as I am aware I did not violate any terms and conditions.
