Das Service u:cloud bietet kostenlosen Cloud-Speicherplatz für Mitarbeiter*innen und Studierende der Universität Wien und synchronisiert Dateien auf mehreren Endgeräten, wie Laptop, Handy und Tablet. u:cloud ist eine quelloffene und sichere Alternative zu den bekannten Cloud-Speicherdiensten – denn Ihre Daten bleiben auf den Servern der Universität Wien. Die u:cloud-App ermöglicht u. a.: • Upload von Dateien in die u:cloud • Download von Dateien von der u:cloud • Automatische Synchronisation von Dateien Die u:cloud ist auch unter https://ucloud.univie.ac.at/ erreichbar. Die Vorteile von u:cloud: • Ihre Daten werden nicht Dritten anvertraut, sondern auf Servern der Universität Wien sicher vor ungewolltem Zugriff gespeichert. • Auch die Software auf der u:cloud basiert, läuft auf universitätseigenen Servern. • Mitarbeiter*innen und Studierende der Universität Wien erhalten kostenlos 50GB Speicherplatz.
