Description
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player.
It can play all your movies, shows and music in most formats directly without conversion.
It allows file synchronization with Dropbox, GDrive, OneDrive, Box, iCloud Drive, iTunes, direct downloads and through Wi-Fi sharing as well as streaming from SMB, FTP, SFTP, NFS, UPnP/DLNA media servers and the web.
VLC offers support for advanced subtitles including full SSA compatibility, multi-track audio, playback speed control and rendering through Chromecast.
VLC is completely free and open source.

Good but...
VLC is a good one but for some reason there is huge battery drain on iPad while playing mkv videos and also the device is quite warm.
Good work but
I think it is best video player on iphone but there is one issue with Airplay - it stream only audio so i need to stream my screen and can't use my phone to other things at the same time. Do you think you can fix it please?
PiP
Hello! The VLC is best media player that i know. But can you tell why you haven’t included picture in picture mode? I read it all on internet about in past times that’s impossible for VLC but other players on App Store have this function. Why did you miss the time and not add the feature?
EDIT: Still after year and half promised PiP mode still not available... Others media players apps have it! ᑥ

It is very complex to implement for VLC as we support almost any video format instead of what the other players are doing. It will come this year, but it isn't simple.
