To use the We Connect services, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and to log in to We Connect with your username and password. A separate We Connect or We Connect Plus contract must also be signed online with Volkswagen AG. For We Connect Plus, you have 90 days from when you receive your vehicle to register it at and use the services for the full duration of the agreed, free period.
**Usage requires an identity check in the form of Volkswagen Ident verification.

* add the time from when the vehicle status data is downloaded.
* Is it possible to add a notification in the background of the phone if the vehicle is unlocked or open ?
* unlocking car takes a long time.
* the function of sending the destination to the car did not send the address including the house number.

Terrible experiences with this App

I’ve new Passat Elegance 2.0 + verified Volkswagen Identity + I’m the main user with checking by PIN after every start of car engine + I’ve Apple iPhone XS with last version of this app and with last version of iOS + I’ve Apple Watch 5 with last Watch OS connected to iPhone and with Watch version of WeConnect app + After starting this app on my iPhone I’m using verification by FaceID + I’ve online services included lock/unlocking + I’m logged with App to my car correctly (I see last car data).
So I try very long time lock/unlock function and situation is: I’m asked for PIN, then this PIN is succefully verified, and a circle is rotating about 1-2 minutes on display (doesnt matter if I try this on iPhone or Watch) and this function make nothing and ends with error notification “ I'm sorry, something went wrong.” Situation is the same with f.e. function “ car flashing or honking”. Very annoying experience not corresponding to the manufacturer's ads. Especially for such an expensive car. Friends who have a BMW or a Mercedes laugh at me. Their applications work without problems. So, new VW Passat I can recommend, but this App? ... definitely not.

Does not work on Apple Watch 3 after renaming

After the renaiming to We Connect I can not use the app on my Apple Watch.
