Hello, I like whatsapp and would like it to keep updating for the better. I noticed if you have app lock to open whatsapp and your Portrait orientation Lock is off, when I try to turn off Portrait orientation lock off it glitches and i’m not able to turn it it off until i have to tilt my phone vertically, i found that annoying. There’s also an issue i don’t know why is happening, all of my contacts are normal except one where i cannot see their profile picture, when they were last seen, and it doesn’t show when they read my messages, but we still communicate normally, my message send as well, why is that? Could i please have some feedback on that? Thank you.
Why???
JakkuSky
Why did you remove the sounds within the application after the update? I mean when I have a chat open and I send someone a message, it makes a sound and when someone replies to me, it also makes a sound. And I don't mean the classic notification of a new message. When I had one chat open and a message came to me in another, it also made that sound. Not anymore. Why? Wouldn't it be better if it was an optional thing? The second thing is the groups..... I don't want to always see the archived folder at the top. Previously, this folder only appeared when I swiped down. Now it's always there. Also, what's the point of creating my own chat group if when I close the application, the All folder is still "open" and not the one I had open last. Please change it back, or make it optional... I don't want to always have the Archive folder in sight...!!!I wanted to solve this through the official support in the app. But there the robot answered me with something completely different (no channels or anything I'm not interested in and I didn't ask about them). So I have no choice but to try here. Thanks a lot
Deactivate Proximity Sensor
Elisabeth Oven
Dear WhatsApp Team,I would like to request the option to disable the proximity sensor during voice message playback on iPhone. Currently, when listening to voice notes, even a brief movement of the hand near the top of the screen interrupts playback due to the sensor detecting proximity. This behavior is highly disruptive, especially when working in dynamic environments or when handling multiple tasks. While I understand the intention behind this feature (e.g., switching to earpiece playback for privacy), it would be extremely helpful to have a toggle in the settings to disable it when needed. The current implementation causes accidental interruptions and affects productivity. Please consider adding this as an optional setting in future updates. It would significantly improve usability for professionals and power users.Thank you for your attention and for your continued work on improving the app.Best regards, E. Oven

I truly love this app, its functionality & simplicity, however with the whole corona situation, Whatsapp has become a very frustrating place since now I have too many chats: classes, friends, family, teachers, study groups, everything joined together in one place makes it very tiring for me. Could it be possible to add in the future folders where you can organize family chats, work, studies? That way, I can relax reading my friend's messages without having to see all the messages from class piling up. In any case, great app ✨
We update the app regularly to fix bugs, optimize performance and improve the experience. Thanks for using WhatsApp!
