Use to be perfect...

For many years, the Remote Desktop for MAC was almost perfect. Year after year, the application quality is going downward. Frankly does not know why. No new functions/features are needed so only the compatibility with new versions of MacOS and other technological environment needs to be maintained. It is "just tool" to connect to remote desktop...
Whenever Microdoft will get back to previous quality, I can give it 5 stars or more 😎

A must-have for Windows admins

A lot more harder on system resources (CPU and RAM) than its predecessor Remote Desktop. Also a lot of bugs and hiccups to be solved. Suddenly copy and paste from Excel on a Windows computer to Outlook on Mac will not preserve formatting, really annoying because I do this a lot. Would appreciate repairing this feature. But still a really helpful app, can’t imagine my life as an IT administrator without it.

Quality is worse than in past versions

I am a daily user of RDP for past 10 years on Mac. Last half a year the MS RDP client for Mac is one of the worse apps I was working with. Sudden changes which result in unusable app (November 22-January 23) the app did not connect to Remote desktop gateway at all. Now it does again but drops connection every 5-15 mins. Constantly. Running a native Windows RDP client on the same line, same Mac, only inside virtualizsed windows - never drops during the day. So same product, same company, amazingly different quality.
