the update 8.2. is GREAT
As an experienced player who has been playing this game since the beginning and has over 60k battles, I don't remember ever being happier with the tier X matchmaking.
Wargaming has done a tremendous job not only nerfing the "hot contenders" ... but also slightly adjusting the tanks which needed it.
This means that the OP tanks weren't just simply taken over by the "next op tank in the line" (yes, yoh is strong but it has weaknesses and full yoh line-up can be countered pretty easily).
Do you enjoy playing tier X? Have you felt that the tournament meta is too repetitive - and unusual strategies are not viable?
Don't worry, fellow tankers, literally every tank on tier X is now playable ... and it can work even in a competitive setting when used properly.
Maybe with the exception of the foch 155 or the FV215b 183... but let's be honest I'm pretty glad those high roll tanks are not meta they still have purpose on the battlefield.
Mediums are playble again. E50M is now the way to win medium 1 on 1 fights, FV4202 is now competing for the best tank to flank with.
Absolutly great.
The only thing I don't like much is the amount of crates instead of direct offers.
Better than PC WoT
A lot more enjoyable than the "grown up" version, grinding has been reduced significantly to the point that I don't really mind it.
No artillery, less modules to grind through, twice as many daily XP bonuses, free premium certificates and daily crates - this makes the game actually playable without paying.
Small battles means less waiting, more fun!
I am with WoT Blitz since day 0, when it first came exclusively on iPads. Since then a lot of changed. Now I am becoming more and more confused about what is what and for. It seems bloated to me, yet the fun makes me come for more. Worth all five stars. Good job Wargaming!
