The Montessori education method was first conceptualised at the start of the 20th century by an Italian pediatrician of the same name. The idea behind it is to offer children an education based on a sensory and kinetic way of learning. Montessori Preschool is based on this ideology and provides a wide variety of activities, which seek to guide children between the ages of 3 – 7 as they embark upon their first steps in the world of education.
Head to the language classroom! Here there are interactive and engaging games and activities that familiarise children with the world of words and letters. Start by listening to letter sounds and continue to enrich their vocabulary with follow-up reading and writing exercises.
It’s time for their maths lesson! In maths class you’ll find fun, colourful games that will teach your child how to count from 1 – 10, 100 and, if they’re feeling confident, all the way up to 10,000! As lessons progress, your budding Pythagoras will also learn more about basic geometry and can start to work their way through simple sums. Lucky them!
It’s time for a well-deserved break! In art class, there are lots of fun activities designed to awaken your child’s inner artist. Children can experiment with colours and shapes, learn to draw and even start to compose their very own musical masterpiece!
