French without the ideology…

A very good app without either the usual missionary tendencies of French state organisations or old-fashioned pedagogical approaches. It also thankfully steers clear of humour, which travels notoriously badly between cultures (anyone for a re-heated Victor Hugo? No? Me neither, although I love his books…).
Attractive and well-suited to individual tastes and interests. Bite-sized grammar and useful vocabulary tailored to both my level and individual interests (and both in good English, so easier to understand). The immersion method does have limitations).
There are still some small proselytising tendencies about politics and culture, but more than tolerable compared to the more overt alternatives.
Well-suited to individual learning at your own pace and in your own time. Price is also competitive and good value in terms of what you get.
Only minus point is its slightly slow reaction times and some programme elements that don’t work well on IOS for iPad (iPhone is ok).

On the strength of these pertinent opinions, in mid-August 2024 we carried out a complete overhaul of our mobile application (ergonomics, charter, user experience, ipad compatibility), which is now stable and exhaustive in terms of workshops and educational content. We invite you to download the update and hope it will exceed your expectations.
