about:blank is an app that blocks websites in Safari . I use it to break my bad browsing habits and to stay productive.

You specify the websites that you want to block on your mac or iOS device, which are then synchronized across all your other devices.

The rules are based on regular expressions, which allows for fine control over a blocked URL. For example you can block the landing page of YouTube and still watch individual videos.

Furthermore you can block websites on the fly inside of Safari .

Works as advertised

This extension replaced Mindful Browsing on my Mac.

The app does what it claims to do but it's not easy to figure it out without the iPhone app - because the mobile app comes with a helpful tutorial that the Mac one is lacking.

It would be extremely awesome if the user could manage to block for a certain time. For example on labour days from 9 to 5 and on Weekends not at all.

Do you remember what information you wish there was in the tutorial of the Mac app?

The blocking of websites during certain hours could be added for the Mac app. If there are more people requesting that feature I will see if I can add it.

Simple app that is worth its money!

This app is great, it does what it says. It is simple to set-up and simple to use!

What could be improved:
- Show RegEx commands when app is opened
- Change the mac app icon that it is following the icon guidelines

I was quite surprised how many people would use the Mac version of the app. At some point I will have to revisit the app and polish it a little bit. Your feedback will help with that.
