You can take out a subscription to access the campsite and motorhome pitches information. You can choose between a monthly subscription for € 1.99, a 3-month subscription for € 4.99 per quarter or an annual subscription for € 9.99 per year.
No matter where you want to go camping in Europe, with the ACSI Campsites Europe app, you will always find a suitable place nearby. It's handy at home when you are planning your next camping holiday, but also when you are on the road and looking for a place to stay the night. Filter by over 250 amenities and read reviews posted by other campers. Once downloaded, you can also use the app without an internet connection. Found the ideal spot? You can reserve straight away in the app at an increasing numbers of campsites.
What’s more, the app works quickly and easily, and you can consult the information on three devices at the same time. Are you going out with your motorhome? Then you can also download packages with motorhome pitches, all inspected by true motorhome owners.
You can try out the app for free for the first three days. After that, the subscription you chose will begin until you cancel the subscription.
The app collects technical data that the developers can use to improve the app.

Standort Daten
Ich benutze diese App auf meinem IPhone und einem IPad bis zum letzten Update war ich mit dem App immer sehr zufrieden (Europa App) da konnte die App beim öffnen immer auch den Standort von mir automatisch finden. Nach dem letzten Update kommt immer eine Meldung das man die Einstellungen vom Handy überprüfen und neu einstellen soll und meinen Standort findet das App nicht mehr, obwohl sich bei den Einstellungen des Handy‘s und des Tabs nicht geändert hat.
ACSI-App
Inhaltlich ist die App nicht zu bemängeln, sie zeigt nach meiner Erfahrung (ich suche regelmäßig nicht nur bei ACSI) fast umfassend die Campingplätze des jeweiligen Landes an. Hier bewährt sich die langjährige Erfahrung.
Die Funktionsweise der App ist leider nicht so zufriedenstellend:
die App ist ein echter Speicherfresser, was bei Appleprodukten mit begrenztem, weil teuren Speicherplatz schnell ein Problem wird. Vermutlich wegen der Menge der einzuspielenden Daten dauert der Start der App relativ lange, dies gilt dann auch für den Download des Kartenmaterials. Wenn man mehrere Länderpakete gekauft, aber aus den vorgenannten Gründen (Platzmangel) nicht runtergeladen hat, weist einen die App gnadenlos bei jedem Start darauf hin, dass nicht alle Länderpakete runtergeladen hat. Insgesamt braucht es drei Klicks, bis man die Suche starten kann. „Schnell mal was nachsehen“ geht jetzt nicht so wirklich.
Das Design und die Darstellung wirkt aus meiner Sicht in die „Jahre gekommen“, insgesamt ist die „usability“ und Darstellung der Konkurrenz deutlich besser.
Letztlich entscheidet der Inhalt und der ist gut. Trotzdem suche ich lieber in anderen Apps.
Funktioniert gut…
… seit einiger Zeit schnelles Lader der Daten und alle Infos sind übersichtlich in der App vorhanden.
Hier aber noch ein Vorschlag von mir:
Ich fände es gut, wenn es nur eine ACSI App geben würde und jeder durch Zukauf seine benötigten Funktionen CC oder Camping- bzw. Stellplatzinfos dazu buchen kann. Eine andere Möglichkeit könnte sein, die Campinginfos auch in der CC-App zu laden. Jetzt benutze ich zwei Apps, eine für die CC und für die Stellplatzinfos und die ACSI-App für Campingplatz und nochmals die Stellplatzinfos.
