Description
Actionbound is an app for playing digital scavenger hunts by means of installing digital content in the physical world.
The content is filled in by the users on the website actionbound.com making actual surroundings a backdrop for the game. We call these interactive mobile rallies “Bounds”, essentially a collection of diverse tasks, e.g., taking pictures, dancing, playing a game etc., linked to a specific location.
The program quite literally augments our reality by enhancing peoples’ real-life interaction whilst using their smart phones and tablets. Apart from the altruistic goal of helping people to discover “their environment by learning more about its history, politics and culture”, the free app is payable for corporate clients, who can use Actionbound for team-building events and the likes.
Actionbound is an interactive app-based game approach for smart phones and tablets: Players are invited to accomplish tasks, which can be defined through the so-called Bound-Creator on the website actionbound.com, in order to playfully discover their environment by learning more about its history, politics and culture. In contrast to a geo-cache or a scavenger hunt Actionbound requires the players to create their own content.

Ich habe mit Actionbound schon einige Geburtstage ausgerichtet. Es war immer ein voller Erfolg. Man kann alles selbst erstellen.. am besten am Laptop vorbereiten und dann aufs Handy die Bound laden. Mit einem QR code können die Kids loslegen.
Megasuper. Man hat zwar etwas Vorbereitung (Route festlegen, evtl ablaufen, Hinweise raussuchen, Fragen stellen).. aber am Tag des Events ist es Megaentspannt.
Und die Überraschung war der vorgefertigte Osterbound von Actionbound. Während der Corona Quarantäne.. kam wie gerufen. Da musste man nur einige Sachen an den vorgegebenen Stellen deponieren, QR Code scannen und los gehts. Kostenlos!

Man merkt, dass die Entwickler aus einem medienpädagogischen Projekt kommen und sehr menschenfreundlich unterwegs sind. Man wird nirgendwo „übers Ohr gehauen“, sie sind extrem für ihre User engagiert und rundum fair.
Die App ist funktional weit aufgestellt, jeder wird eine Möglichkeit finden, Actionbound für sich zu nutzen. Trotz der Funktionsfülle ist alles gut verständlich und auf jeder Stufe leicht zu bedienen. Es gibt viel zu entdecken! Ausprobieren lohnt sich in jedem Fall!
Hammer-App zum Kreieren von Schatzsuchen
Mein Sohn liebt Schatzsuchen und hat sich zu seinem 12. Geburtstag eine gewünscht. Angeregt von einer Tablet-Rallye bei einem Junggesellenabschied ging ich auf die Suche nach einer Schnitzeljagd-App und fand diese hier.
Die App ist einfach mega-klasse!!! Ich hab selten eine so tolle und vor allen Dingen so gut durchdachte App gesehen. Man kann die Schnitzeljagd spicken mit Aufgaben, Quizfragen, dem Auffinden von Orten oder der reinen Eingabe von Informationen. Bei jedem Teil hat man wiederum viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum Feinjustieren wie Punktevergabe, Punktabzug bei falscher Lösungseingabe, Vorgabe von Zeitlimits, Navigation per Pfeil oder Karte und und und.... Ich kann gar nicht alle Möglichkeiten hier aufzählen 🙈 Dadurch kann man aber jede Schnitzeljagd sehr individuell und altersentsprechend gestalten.
Hinzukommt, dass es für die Altersklasse, in der mein Sohn jetzt ist, auch sehr cool ist, die Schnitzeljagd mit dem Handy zu durchlaufen.
Die App bietet sich genauso auch für Schulklassen oder sonstige Gruppen an, denen zB bei einer Stadtführung Wissen auf angenehme Art vermittelt werden soll 😉 Unser Geburtstags-Team wird wohl nicht mehr vergessen, dass der Panoramaturm in unserer Heimatstadt Ottweiler auf 427 Meter Höhe steht 😜
Und das ganze ist im privaten Rahmen auch noch kostenlos!
