Adjust My Crown: Outfit Maker 4+

Adjust My Crown makes wardrobe management social and quick, while prioritizing a supportive and safe community of real people (hello, founded by a busy, concerned Mom!). The polls become your Lookbook and answer,“Which one?” when you’re stuck between two favorites or between new & old or new & new… anywhere you’re stuck! Adjust My Crown is the easiest way to solve that problem and manage your closet while at the same time getting safe, anonymous approval to nudge you towards your most stylish self ever.

HOW? 
Snap two pics & post as a poll - it’s as simple as a selfie. The poll can be ended immediately, with no votes (because you simply wanted to save a look you loved and felt fantastic wearing) or the poll can be posted for a set amount of time for our (safe, human, invested) community to vote on their favorite. Note from the founder mom: It was important for my daughters to be comparing themselves to themselves, not other people. Comparison is the thief of joy and all that.

WON’T THAT TAKE FOREVER? I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR THIS! 
Same, same, same (Homeschooling mom of 4 speaking). Taking 1 minute to take pics on the days I actually like my outfit eventually gave me a Lookbook in my Profile of about 20 outfits (no new clothes required). It helped me clear the clutter at the end of the season because I never wore about 80% of the things in my closet. Getting dressed WELL can take 1 second to glance at the app and clearing a closet can go from days/hours down to less than an hour and what’s left is stuff you loved and felt great wearing. Packing for a trip now takes less time than you ever imagined.

WHY A POLL? 
To keep it simple to use.

HOW ARE THERE TWO WAYS TO USE A POLL? THAT MAKES NO SENSE. 
For opinions (which length your pants should be hemmed to? Does this look better tucked with a belt or untucked? White socks or no socks? Maxi or mini? Which purse strap?)
To save looks with notes/commentary (the day’s temperature, if pregnant which trimester, or who you wore it on a date with)

HOW DO I USE A SAVED POLL?
-It becomes your Personal Lookbook
-Saved polls help you see what you have and love
-Saved polls help you shop better. You know what to buy based on what you do/don’t see pictured in your Lookbook.
-Next time you wake up and think you have nothing to wear, simply go to your Profile, where you find all of your past polls. Pick an outfit that corresponds with the weather & the day’s activities. With saved polls (your Lookbook), a day that would have felt blah now feels fantastic and you can go live your life instead of feeling stuck.

SAFE ENOUGH FOR MY TEENAGER TO USE?
Yes! I built the AMC app for my own girls to use. It’s not addicting. You can blur your face. There aren’t profiles. No numbers of likes. No bullying/ trolls. No way to connect one to one for someone to target your teen. Down the road I might add a more personal way of connecting but I would need lots of feedback on how to keep the app safe enough for my own loved ones to use and know they’re not being targeted or trolled.

WHY A SUBSCRIPTION?
Subscriptions guarantee a human is voting (no shade against AI but I’d like a human’s perspective) on your poll. They keep us ad free. They also make sure parents know their child is on the app (“What is this charge?!”). We added a non-subscription option so you can buy a "pack" of polls before committing to unlimited usage with a subscription.

DO I REALLY NEED AN APP FOR THIS?
It depends on how organized you are. Do you wear 95% of the clothes you own? Can you decide what to wear (for every location and temperature) in less than a minute? Can you pack for a trip in a matter of a few minutes. If you answered “no”, then the AMC app would help tremendously. If you’re super organized you could use a photo album or notes. But I’d get my ideas lost in 45,000 photos or 160 notes. You can also just text friends instead of doing a poll.
