The Arachnomancy App created by Studio Tomás Saraceno is an invitation to celebrate the radical interconnectedness of all things, both living and non-living. Through the Arachnomancy App you are invited to receive an oracle reading based on the digital version of the Arachnomancy Cards. These cards, exploring topics from Invertebrate Rights to Climate Eviction, were created by artist Tomás Saraceno for Spider/Web Pavilion 7 as part of May You Live In Interesting Times curated by Ralph Rugoff at the 58th International Biennale Arte in Venice.

Understanding spider/webs as nonhuman pavilions that transcend national representation, the App extends the Arachnocene from the Venice Biennale to your own garden. Summon the oracle by sharing photos of spider/webs you encounter, and unlock an Archnomancy Reading communicated beyond human language. Based on spider vibrational communication, your reading is composed of seismic signals produced and received on actual spider/webs from the Arachnophilia Archives. Revisit your reading and share images with friends by accessing your Oracle Archive.

Find a spider/web, take a picture and enter How to Hear the Universe in a Spider/Web: A life Concert for/by Invertebrate Rights, through the Arachnomancy App!

- Choose a card from the Arachnomancy deck and feel the earth beneath your feet, hear the song of the spider/webs and stars, and jam out with the vibratory multiplicity that composes the Universe.
- Use headphones and enable your device’s vibration mode to hear binaural spider/web vibrations in this multisensory concert experience.
- Stay in tune for future announcements on the Events page.
- Use the Map to help find your spider/web companion.
- Learn to sense otherwise with the sounds of spider/webs, cosmic radiation and other anthropocentric space residue in your Oracle Archive.

A quest for spider knowledge

I used the app because I wanted to get my future predicted by a spider and that does not happen every day. The experience is really smooth and entertaining but it goes deeper when it comes to the exercise of locating spiders and spider webs around me so we we can raise awareness about other living creatures like them. loved it !
