The app shows you when falling stars can be spotted in your location.
In addition, the app has a variety of useful calendrical and astronomical functions that are just a click away:
1. The gorgeous celestial objects observable at this moment.
2. An overview of all constellations and where they currently reside in the sky.
3. Learn when you can observe the lunar eclipse and the next phases of the moon.
4. The current positions of the sun, the moon and the planets.
5. The times for the sunset and the beginning of nightfall.
6. The exact times the seasons begin.
7. The current sidereal times.
8. The shortest distance between any two places along the earth's surface.
9. A beautiful compass that displays the Azimuth.
Astron is available in 3 versions: the free Light version and the paid versions Advanced and Premium.

This is a free upgrade for Astron.
Compared to the version you are using, you can now set the order of the entries in the events menu individually. Furthermore, the summer times have been updated and some improvements have been made to the explanation texts.

Eine beeindruckende und vollumfängliche Sammlung von allg. Informationen, aber vor allem auch Daten, Fakten und Erkenntnisse, die nicht jedem überhaupt bekannt sind. Sehr gut analytisch aufgebaut, logisch und nachvollziehbar dargestellt und sowohl grafisch als auch textuell bestens aufbereitet.
Erklärungen aller Begriffe befinden sich direkt in den jeweils thematisch voneinander abgegrenzten App-Bereichen.

Eine App mit vielen Funktionen und hilfreichen Informationen für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene - oder um einfach die nächste Sternschnuppe zu finden und den Blick in die Sterne zum Erlebnis werden zu lassen.
Sehr gut sind die Erläuterungen zu den einzelnen Einstellungen und (fach)spezifischen Daten. Sehr umfassend und dadurch auch immer wieder mit neuen Lerneffekten und spannenden Hinweisen.

Tolle hochfunktionale Astro-App
Habe aus Interesse an Sternschnuppen die App geladen und bin einfach nur begeistert. Die App bietet eine Fülle an Funktionalität und bei extrem hoher Qualität. Um Beispiel exakte Bestimmung der Planetenkoordinaten, Herausfinden, wo die nächste Sternschnuppe zu erwarten ist, Mondphasen - alles, was das Herz des Hobby-Astronomen begehrt. Einfach nur toll.
Und: keine Abzocke per Abo-Modell. Habe nur sofort das Upgrade gekauft und bin einfach nur begeistert. Weiter so!
