Description
Authenticator is a simple, free, and open source two-factor authentication app. It helps keep your online accounts secure by generating unique one-time passwords, which you use in combination with your other passwords to log into supporting websites. The simple combination of the password in your head and the rotating passwords generated by the app make it much harder for anyone but you to access your accounts.
• Easy: Simple setup via QR code, "otpauth://" URL, or manual entry
• Secure: All data is stored in encrypted form on the iOS keychain
• Compatible: Full support for time-based and counter-based one-time passwords as standardized in RFC 4226 and 6238
• Off the Grid: The app never connects to the internet, and your secret keys never leave your device.

Sehr gute, zuverlässige und kostenlose App
Ich benutze die Authenticator-App seit einigen Monaten für ein paar Anwendungen und bin sehr zufrieden. Die App ist einfach zu bedienen, funktioniert zuverlässig, ist kostenlos und dazu noch Open source. Das finde ich sehr überzeugend und deshalb kann ich die App nur weiterempfehlen!
Hervorragend
Genau was ich gesucht habe. Funktioniert sehr einfach und einwandfrei. Würde dem Entwickler gern etwas zukommen lassen, leider gibt es keine donation option.
Microsoft Authenticator ist schlecht
Ich empfehle diesen App anstatt MS Authenticator. Weil wenn man eine encrypted backup vom iPhone macht dann kann man alles leicht wieder herstellen.
Bei MS hat man die Möglichkeit einen Cloud Backup zu erstellen, aber wenn man sich dort wieder einloggt, dann ist es sehr einfach den eigenen Backup zu überschreiben. Das hat mir sehr viel Kopfschmerzen gemacht, deswegen kehre ich zurück zu diesem Open Source Authenticator App lieber.
