Avaya Workplace integrates your iPhone and iPad with your office Avaya Aura or IP Office communications environment and delivers mobile voice & video VoIP calling, rich conferencing, instant messaging, presence, visual voicemail, corporate directory access, call history and more!
Key Capabilities (Feature availability will vary based on your environment and configured services)
· VoIP calls – Lower your mobile service charges by making VoIP calls over Wi-Fi or mobile data networks
· Conceal Your Mobile Phone Number - Calls made with Avaya Workplace are handled by your office communication system and will display your office calling line ID, not your mobile phone number
· Cellular Voice integration – If VoIP isn’t your best option, then traditional cellular voice service can be used and calls will still be routed through your office communication system
· Call Mobility – VoIP roaming between Wi-Fi and 3/4G networks, and call handoff between cellular voice and VoIP
· Single Number Contact – Choose to have incoming office calls ring on your iPhone and/or any other phone you may want to use
· Visual voicemail – Enables you to see who left you a voice message and when it arrived. Messages can be played in any order.
· Instant Messaging – Exchange text messages and multi-media file attachments with archival/retrieval
· Presence status – View the Presence status of colleagues
· 24X7 call logs shows all office line call activity regardless of which device was used or when calls arrived
· Corporate Directory Integration – Search for corporate contacts and create a list of favorites
· Integrated audio / video / web conferencing with Avaya Workplace Meetings Online and Avaya Workplace Conferencing

Telefonfunktionen aus Kontakten
Seit dem letzten Update sind alle Kontakte verschwunden und nicht mehr verfügbar. Daher lässt sich die Telefonie aus der App heraus nicht mehr nutzen. Leider eine Verschlechterung.

Ein Collaboration Tool
Die App ist übersichtlich und einfach in der Bedienung. Kalender und Kontakte sind integriert, direkt aus dem Kalender oder der Prioritätenübersicht kann ein Telefonat, eine Audio- oder Videokonferenz geführt werden. Selbst Inhalte die geteilt werden kann ich auf dem Smartphone (Displaygrösse beachten) oder Tablet mitverfolgen. Selbstverständlich ist auch Chatten möglich. Läuft stabil in einer guten WLAN oder zumindest 3G besser LTE Umgebung.
jedes Update eine neue Überraschung!
Nach dem Update auf 3.31 ist meine Benutzer / Passwort Kombination nicht mehr gültig. Jetzt kann ich schon wieder die App nicht mehr nutzen. Mobiles Arbeiten ist mit Avaya nicht durchgängig machbar. Kann man die App nicht testen, bevor man die in den AppStore stellt ?. Bei 3.30 war es so, dass ich nicht mehr benachrichtigt wurde, wenn ich angerufen werde. Version 2.7 war dann ok. Bereits im Sommer hatte ich bewertet: Nach den Update auf 3.26 bekommt man nicht mehr mit, wenn man angerufen wird und die Anwendungen im Hintergrund läuft (IOS) und auch die reduzierte Akkulaufzeit ist damit wieder zurück ( war zwischenzeitlich mal besser ). Schade das niemand die Updates vernünftig testet, bevor man die frei gibt. So ist die App unbrauchbar ! Wie ist da die Strategie? Wollt ich uns zu Avaya Space zwingen ? Achja, kann man auch vergessen. Habe das heute aus Verzweiflung versucht, damit ich telefonieren kann. Account erstellt, App herunterladen und dann kann man der schönen Space Rakete zuschauen, wie die den Verbindungsaufbau versucht aufzubauen. Erfolglos ! Naja, dann halt nicht mehr telefonieren und an Konferenzen teilnehmen. Wird wohl überbewertet. Avaya schafft Work lifetime balance-Danke !

Bitte entschuldigen SIe die Unannehmlichkeiten, die Ihnen möglicherweise nach dem Upgrade auf Workplace 3.26 wiederfahren sind.
Aufgrund kürzlich von Apple auferlegter Änderungen sind Push-Benachrichtigungen jetzt eine Voraussetzung für eine zuverlässige Anrufzustellung, auch wenn die App nicht im Vordergrund ausgeführt wird.
Bitten Sie Ihren Unternehmensadministrator, Push-Benachrichtigungen auf Ihrem Avaya Aura- oder IP Office-System zu aktivieren, um dieses Problem zu lösen.
