Stay up-to-date
To get the most out of your AVM Audio HiFi streaming system, please make sure you always keep the RC S App and the software of your AVM Audio device up-to-date. To make sure your device runs the latest software version, please use the AVM RC S App: Navigate to the ‘Settings' tab and choose 'Device Settings' / 'Software' / 'Check for Updates'.
Please note: TIDAL, QOBUZ and other Online Services such as Webradio and Podcasts require your AVM Audio device to run software version 0.18 or higher. To make sure your AVM Audio device runs the latest software version, please use the RC S App: Navigate to the 'Settings' tab and choose 'Device Settings' / 'Software' / 'Check for Updates'.
IMPORTANT NOTE for vTuner users:
Due to the implementation of the advanced Airable internet radio, podcast and music service, vTuner will no longer be supported. However, formerly stored stations can still be accessed and used via the Favorite and Preset menus.
Changes without prior notice possible in the sense of technological upgrades.

Hmm wir waren im Februar 2017 auf den HiFi messen dort wurde uns mehrmals bestätigt , das der Aufbau der App nicht der heutigen Zeit entspricht. Die Bedienung ist derartig schlecht. Den Bildschirm kann man nicht quer stellen , das vorspulen der Lieder ist veraltet , das laden der einzelnen Playlisten dauert zu lang . Wählt man ein Lied an , öffnet er das jeweilige Cover und die Playlist verschwindet in den Hintergrund. Sucht man dann das nächste Lied aus wird die komplette Playlist erneut geladen und das dauert. Begründung war am Ende der zu kleine Arbeitsspeicher im Streamer selbst. Hmm nun hat man es hier stehen und ärgert sich. Eine Neuentwicklung der App kostet Geld war die Aussage. Sehe ich ein , aber Kunden die sich für einen anderen Hersteller entscheiden , bringen auch keines ein.
Update
Die App ist klar und schnörkellos. Update war überfällig und ist offenbar nicht die Stärke von AVM, die liegt klar in der Performance der Geräte. Auch hier gilt wer Updates verspricht muss irgendwann liefern. Wann ist irgendwann?
App verbindet sich nicht mehr ans CS5.2
Weniger als ein Jahr gelebt mit dem CS5.2. App…erstmal gewohnungs bedürftig aber ok, gerät ist super, klingt sehr gut. Danach hat’s angefangen mit verbindungsprobleme. An WLAN zu verbinden wenn man Glück hat vielleicht verbindet sich, meistens nicht, selbst mit Anweisungen per Telefon mit AVM, irgendwie hat’s geklappt. Aktuell mit neuen Internet Anbieter d.h. neue IP Adresse verbindet sich nicht mal über LAN. Trotz Reseten versuche usw. Liebe AVM Besitzer der 2te Generation: kauft euch ein WIIM Pro Streamer, anschließen über coax oder optical und habt ihr ohne Ende Streaming Funktionen mit tollen App und alles für nur 180€. Also habt ihr ein super AVM klang und DAC und tolle Streaming Lösung für wenig Geld.
