Beschreibung

Backtrack lets you record all those conversations, calls, and brainstorming sessions that you forgot to click the record button for.

Backtrack is always recording, and over-writes a 60 minute window of audio over and over throughout the day, locally on your Mac. As soon as something happens that you realize you should have recorded, just drag the icon down to the time you need to backtrack to, and the app will save an audio file to your desktop.

Backtrack is a menubar app. To access settings or quit the app, use the dropdown from the menubar.

Does it right

I´m happy with this little app. Does it´s job right. Easy to use. All I want.

Not really helpful...

The app doesn't detect automatically which mic is used (is that meant to be the "default" setting?).
E.g., when I have my macbook closed and an external monitor attached I would have to manually change the mic to the monitor's or usb mic. If I forget to do that ... no recording. Wasn't that the point of the app?

Recording of Zoom calls didn't work. :-(

Also, it seems to be buggy, activity monitor show 100% CPU usage, battery gets drained.
