Not as promised, Damages & Uncooperative support

The room I booked was not as described. Holes in the walls, noisy construction side nearby and an electric generator next door buzzing all night. The pricing was about 30-40% about the market price, which I didn’t knew beforehand (was an international visitor for an internship in the US). The basement was beeping all night, because a carbon monoxide sensor was broken. The support did nothing about those issues and did not provide any help, aside from the usual slang “we are so sorry to hear you are unhappy”. When moving out prematurely the support tried to withheld money I was owned by the contract. I had to insist to get the money back, which I did. Highly recommend visiting the apartments before signing the rent and do not expect too much from customer service.
