Amazing app for actually understanding what you learn!
Bunpo is a fantastic app and I feel like I’m finally making headway in my Japanese learning odyssey, haha. Considering the amount of content and the quality of explanations, I feel like the price for the full version is more than fair as well and I gladly paid it to support the creator/s :)
I’ve only run into one little bug so far: when I’m using the app on my iPad, on questions where you have to click on sentence fragments to complete a sentence, the furigana are cut off at the top so you can’t read them. It works perfectly fine on iPhone, it’s just a problem on iPad.
Good app but too difficult for beginners
At first it seemed like a really great app, i love the explanations of grammar and the lections (level 1). im studying japanese now like 1,5 years
unfortunately when you go to the next level you need to write complete sentences in hiragana or katakana, which takes like minimum half an hour for a complete small sentence. i can read the alphabets and also write them on paper, but this language keyboard and to find the individual characters is way to much and too difficult.
i stopped using the app because it takes to much time and im losong motivation as i keep repeating the lections that i‘ve already done, but couldn’t finish due to the 2 or 3 self writing exercises. it is really frustrating, and its no learning effect. i would suggest to be able to finish a lection without the writing part or instead of self writing you can click on word boxes and complete a sentence through this, could you please change this?
An app I was looking for so long
Bunpo is an app where you can learn Japanese grammar divided into the JLPT levels. It’s easy to understand lessons with exercises at the end. I’ve been learning Japanese for several months now and I was always looking for an app that explains grammar so easy to understand. It’s a masterpiece! It makes my progression in studying Japanese bigger than any other grammar app before. I am so thankful I found them. That’s why I give them five stars because it has anything you’ll need no matter how good your Japanese is. Try it out you won’t regret it!
