BusyCal ist eine leistungsstarke, flexible und zuverlässige Kalender-App für macOS. INDIVIDUELLE ANSICHTEN
BusyCal zeigt Ihre Kalender als Tages-, Wochen-, Monats-, Jahres- oder Listenansicht an. Einzigartig in BusyCal ist die Möglichkeit, diese Ansichten auf Ihre individuellen Bedürfnisse zu optimieren. Sie können die Anzahl der pro Monat dargestellten Wochen anpassen und sogar das Aussehen des Kalenders mit Schriftart und -größe, Kalenderfarben, Datumsformat, usw. ändern.
INTEGRIERTE AUFGABEN
In BusyCal werden Ihre Aufgaben direkt im Kalender am Fälligkeitstag angezeigt und werden mitgenommen, bis sie erledigt sind. Sie können Ihre Aufgabenliste auch in einer separaten Seitenleiste einblenden. Aufgaben in BusyCal sind kompatibel und syncfähig mit der Erinnerungen App in macoS und iOS.
INFORMATIONSFENSTER
Im BusyCal Informationsfenster können Sie Daten zu Ereignissen schnell und einfach ansehen und bearbeiten. Das Informationsfenster kann in der Seitenleiste, als Popup oder als separates Fenster dargestellt werden. Und es ist komplett anpassbar mit zahlreichen Attributen wie Zeitzonen, Etiketten, privaten Notizen, letzter Bearbeitungszeit und vielen mehr.
REISEZEIT
Mit BusyCal können Sie die Reisezeit zu Fuß, mit dem Auto oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu einem Ereignis oder Ort hinzurechnen lassen. Sie können die Reisezeit selbst bestimmen oder mithilfe der integrierten Unterstützung für Ortungsdienste und Apple Maps automatisch errechnen lassen. Lassen Sie sich dann eine Nachricht senden, wenn es Zeit ist aufzubrechen.
MENÜLEISTEN-APP
Die BusyCal Menüleisten-App ist immer im Hintergrund aktiv, selbst wenn BusyCal selbst nicht geöffnet ist. So haben Sie Ihren Kalender jederzeit im Blick. Sie zeigt einen Mini-Kalender, eine scrollbare Liste Ihrer Ereignisse und Aufgaben sowie die Wettervorhersage an.

BusyCal zeigt eine 10-Tage Wettervorhersage, die Mondphasen sowie Sonnenauf- und untergang an.
GRAFIKEN
In BusyCal können Sie Grafiken in Ihren Kalender einfügen, um Urlaube und besondere Ereignisse hervorzuheben. Sie können zwischen den integrierten Emoji- und IconFinder-Bildern wählen oder eigene Bilder von Ihrem Schreibtisch oder aus dem Internet einfügen.
INTELLITENTE FILTER
Die intelligenten Filter von BusyCal sind besonders hilfreich beim Verwalten Ihrer Kalender. Intelligente Filter können über ein Tastenkürzel oder eine Schaltfläche in der Symbolleiste aktiviert werden, um nur bestimmte Kalender einzublenden (und andere auszublenden), konfigurierte Suchen auszuführen (Ereignisse, die „Markus“ enthalten), oder Ansichteneinstellungen (8 Wochen in Monatsansicht) zu aktivieren.
ALARME
BusyCal zeigt Alarme in einem beweglichen, in der Größe veränderbaren Fenster an, in dem Sie den Alarm für eine bestimmte Dauer ab sofort oder bis zu einer Zeit vor dem Ereignis verstummen lassen können. Alarme in BusyCal werden sogar dann ausgelöst, wenn das Hauptprogramm gar nicht aktiv ist. So verpassen Sie nie wieder einen Termin.
BUSYCONTACTS INTEGRATION
BusyCal versteht sich hervorragend mit seinem Bruder BusyContacts. Beide Apps zusammen bilden eine einheitliche und flexible CRM-Lösung. Durch Hinzufügen von Kontakten zu Ereignissen in BusyCal haben Sie Zugriff auf die E-Mail-Adresse und Telefonnummer des Kontakts sowie einem Verlauf der Korrespondenz aus BusyContacts.
KALENDER SYNCEN UND VERÖFFENTLICHEN
BusyCal unterstützt iCloud, Google Calendar, Exchange, Office 365 und andere CalDAV-Server, damit Sie Ihre Kalender mit anderen Macs und iOS-Geräten mit BusyCal oder der integrierten Kalender-App synchronisieren können. Natürlich können Sie Kalender auch veröffentlichen, Meetings planen und die Verfügbarkeit von anderen Kontakten einsehen.

Trotzdem wird mir der Zugang verweigert. Da hier Datenverluste verheerend sein können, kann ich es nimmer (neben Apple Kalender) als einzige Verwaltung nehmen. Nachtrag: Nach einigen Schritten mit dem Support ist es endlich gelungen, von den alten lokalen Kalendern (die früher die einzige Option waren) wegzukommen zu iCloud, mit vielen Fallen. Nur ein spezieller unerwarteter Weg geht. Jedenfalls läuft es nun wieder wunderbar, hoffentlich nun dauerhaft.

Was mich überzeugt hat, waren Features dank derer manches tun konnte, was die Apple Kalender-App leider nie gelernt hat. Z.B. dass ich nur eine Benachrichtigung bekommen möchte, wenn jemand in MEINEN Kalendern etwas ändert, aber nicht wenn meine Frau etwas in ihrem Kalender ändert. Allein das hilft mir ungemein! Sehr schön ist auch wie man die verschiedenen Kalender in Gruppen arrangieren und so auf einen Schlag ein- und ausschalten kann. Das Design ist zudem übersichtlicher als in allen anderen alternativen Kalender-Apps, die ich ausprobiert habe. Der Support ist sehr schnell und sehr hilfreich, was leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit ist.Einen Stern Abzug gebe ich aber aus folgenden Gründen: Der Preis ist etwas zu hoch, wie ich finde (allerdings ist Familienfreigabe möglich, was den Preis u.U. wieder relativiert); die Einstellungen sind etwas unübersichtlich, was natürlich auch an den vielen Möglichkeiten liegt; die deutsche Lokalisierung ist nicht ganz vollständig, was an einigen (wenigen) Stellen zu einem Sprachmischmasch führt.
